/129-34 D&RGW 2-stall Enginehouse + Interior Kit
 When a branch line had sufficient traffic to warrant having an engine assigned to it, frequently an engine house was constructed to provide shelter for daily servicing and storage. This kit is modeled after three such structures located at Creede, Crested Butte, and Lake City Colorado. The model is 64 scale feet long, 32 feet wide. As the structures aged, the doors were frequently rebuilt or replaced. On the model, the doors can be built so they are all the same, or all different.

The basic kit includes only the engine house. The optional Interior kit includes diagonal sheathing and studs for the walls, a work bench, sand box, and two ladders along with material for the pit walls. The Engine House Addition is freelanced, but is designed to add some character to the structure. It will increase the length of the house by 12 feet, enough for the longer engines, or to be used as a small shop for a smaller railroad.
